Our user stories
Meet Jana
Why are you learning a language?
To continually improve my career prospects and to prepare for trips around the world.
Are there any techniques you use to keep yourself on track that you'd like to share with other language learners?
I find it important to have a language group to meet with once a week. My group meets to discover Spanish culture. We try out Spanish restaurants or go salsa dancing.
What keeps you motivated?
By watching telenovelas. :)
What do you enjoy most about learning a language on Busuu?
The progress I see myself make week after week.
How would you describe Busuu in one sentence?
To me Busuu is the social network for learning new languages and culture exchange.
What has studying on Busuu helped you to do in the real world?
Busuu has helped me improve my language skills and I was therefore able to attract clients from Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Argentina (and I was even able to recognise the different accents).
